Mardi 14 février 2006 : BBC RADIO 3 - VOICES. Tribute to Birgit Nilsson lain Burnside presents a tribute to one of the greatest Wagnerian singers of the 20th century, the Swedish dramatic soprano, Birgit Nilsson , who died on Christmas Day at the age of 87.

Radio autrichienne 1965-1979

Dimanche 5 décembre 1965 : AUS BURG UND OPER. Birgit Nilsson est interviewée par le journaliste Heinz Fischer-Karwin. Ce jour-là, elle chantait le rôle de Brunnhilde dans la Walkyrie à l'Opéra de Vienne où elle venait d'interpréter coup sur coup les rôles d'Elektra, Turandot et Isolde. Parallèlement, depuis le 29 octobre, elle participait à l'enregistrement de La Walkyrie sous la direction de Georg Solti aux studios de la Sofiensaal.

Jeudi 22 juin 1967 : Birgit Nilsson accorde une interview (47 minutes) au musicologue Erich Schenk. Elle vient de chanter Isolde à Vienne et chante Turandot ce jeudi soir.

Dimanche 31 décembre 1967 : AUS BURG UND OPER. Dans le cadre de son émission radiophonique, Heinz Fischer-Karwin discute avec Birgit Nilsson entre deux représentations de Tristan und Isolde à Vienne.

Lundi 12 août 1968 : AUS BURG UND OPER. Entre deux représentations de Tristan und Isolde au Festival de Bayreuth, Heinz Fischer-Karwin rencontre Birgit Nilsson à Vienne et discute avec elle au sujet de sa carrière et de ses perspectives futures.

Dimanche 11 janvier 1970 : AUS BURG UND OPER. En janvier 1970, Birgit Nilsson est venue chanter dans trois représentations à Vienne : Tosca, Turandot et Elektra. Le 11 janvier, Heinz Fischer-Karwin la rencontre avec le metteur en scène Otto Schenk pour parler de leur collaboration.
